In recent years, global awareness of neurodiversity has been steadily increasing. However, in Hong Kong, students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) still face significant social stigma and misunderstanding, both within and outside of schools. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting many SEN students. While they may encounter challenges in social or academic performance, they often display remarkable talents in areas such as art, sports, and creativity. Their innocence and passion have deeply touched me, inspiring me to establish "Mind Canvas," a non-profit organization aimed at providing support for SEN students and their families through this platform.
